Somtimes the world turns a bit too quickly.
Sometimes I wish we could slow it down, just to get a few more hours out of each day.
Everything streams by in a flash when the world holds no mercy for time.
Do you remember your last kiss? Do you remember the last time you smiled out of genuine joy?
Filled schedules, 50 hour work weeks, meetings, interviews, training sessions, practices, lessons...
Everything seems to fly by so quickly when you have no time to stop the world from turning.
The most important times are not the ones about to arrive, but the ones we remember
when we stop the world from turning.
When those most important to you begin to fall from your everyday life...
it's almost as if these people are no longer a part of your world..
simply visitors there to accompany you for a few moments.
It's when the time I spend with the people I love becomes scheduled that I realized the world turns too fast.
It's when the people I love don't fit into life...
It's when those people do nothing to become a part of your life...
It's when the world has no mercy for love and company..
that we realize theres a problem,
that we realize the world needs to stop,
That we need to stop the world for ourselves.
People say that time is money.
What is love worth?

He walked through the sand and she followed closely behind softly holding his hand.
It was warm with a cool breeze coming off the water.
The sound of seagulls in the sky flowed into the sounds of the tides coming in.
They both had smiles on their faces, the kind you have when you're exactly where you want to be.
He turned around to look at her face, beautifully tanned by the summer sun, with her eyes shimmering with the reflection of the swaying water.
They found the perfect spot, and he turned to embrace her in his arms.
              She was warm.
He sank to his knees and kissed her beneath her naval and looked up with a smile.
She giggled as she pushed him back and fell into his lap, pulling his arms around her chest.
The both of them gazed into the setting sun, feeling the cool wind, and hearing the ocean glide over the beach.
There was nothing to worry about, simply because they had eachother.
There was nowhere to go, because they were exactly where they wanted to be.
There was nothing to say, because their love spoke for itself.
Peace, love, stillness.
They could feel eachother's heartbeats.
They could feel eachother's warm skin.
The smell of her hair, and the way she felt safe in his arms.
Nothing more, nothing else, they have it all.

Stories can be recollections, and they can teach morals.
They can be pointless tales to entertain the ear, or they could mean the world in the hearts of men and women.
They can lift, and they can bury.
They can be totally imaginary, they can be lies, and they can be true.
But I like to think of them as reminiscing of days we haven't yet lived.

2 Lessons learned today.
Lesson the first...protein shakes before bed keep your metabolism running throughout a good portion of the night.
Lesson the second...dont use the word "virgin" sarcastically when joking around with your mother, unless of course you just love awkward moments.

Starlight, star bright [20 Jun 2007|08:22am]
Look above to see beauty.
Yet, look above to see nothing.
Look above to see beauty hidden.
Look above to see the shallowest lights, hiding the true twilight.

its the sensations that make life sensational [13 Jun 2007|09:37am]
the sound of your coworkers wishing you a good evening after a long day's work.
the subtle excitement and anticipation that comes over you when you cant wait to get home and listen to the new cds you just bought.
the smile that overcomes your expressionless visage as you see familiar faces.
the sense of accomplishment and the reward of practice that you get when you bang out those new grooves and beats,
and even moreso the feeling you get in your eyes when that kidonchristmas feeling starts to arise when you learn brand new techniques to use and perfect only to open up your potential just that extra bit wider. (drums in my case)
the feeling you get as your heart melts when the girl of your dreams tells you just how much she loves you.
the sound of the plates crashing on eachother after a good set.
the pleasant yet pounding force on your fists and the burning in your legs after dealing out a days worth of steam on a heavy bag.
the cool kiss of ice cold water passed your lips and down your throat after the regiment of swollen muscles and pouring sweat.
the warm touch of the evening air, and the relaxing glow of the nightlights setting the path home to your soft, warm bed.
its all the sensations that make life sensational.

*ps, these are not in order of priority lol....its just the order that they actually happened

all in a day in my life.
cheers.
